Things I carry in my purse:

Lip balm,

a tampon,

my wallet,

headphones,

a polaroid picture of my dog,

my keys and my phone,

my ring that broke,

a stone from a river a while ago,

I use to carry you

But you don’t fit in my purse anymore,

I couldn’t carry anything else when I had you

so I had to let you go

so I could fill my purse with joyful things again,

I had to let you go

so I could carry my things again

so I could carry me.
